Calder Community Cares is excited to announce the opening of our Pop Up Shop in Hebden Bridge at the end of May 2022.

We’re really grateful to Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council for allowing us to use this building for the next 6 months. The pop up shop will be a key part of our fundraising strategy, allowing us to sell pre-loved, and handcrafted items to support all those in need in the Upper Calder Area.

The shop will be one of our locations to host events for our local families. We’ll also host special social events for refugees from Ukraine, their host families and Ukrainian speakers from the Calder Valley.

Calder Community Cares is delighted to have secured the services of Catriona Lucas to set up and run the shop for us. Catriona has extensive experience at running charity pop-ups and is a dab hand at fundraising, having raised over £2,500 already for The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal
