Calder Community Cares Collaborates with Mytholmroyd Train Station Partnership

All Aboard!

Calderdale’s older generation are to be invited for a grand day out to Chester.

We are proud of our collaborations with other great charitable organisations in this wonderful valley, and to announce a super, new relationship with Mytholmroyd Station Partnership.

CCC will be working with Northern Rail, and the Mytholmroyd Station Partnership to arrange day trips out. This is a great chance for our isolated and elderly people to get out, take a small amount of exercise and make new friends. Our first trip will be to Chester.
This event is free with transport and lunch included. Many more will follow.

The Mytholmroyd Station Partnership describe themselves as a friendly bunch of local folk. They meet a couple of times a month to keep the village railway station looking tidy. Our new collaboration is just one of the many ways that they find of associating with local residents, business, schools and groups. It is great news that we will be able to provide a wonderful service meeting the social, physical and mental well-being needs of our local, elderly population.

We are honoured to be able to provide discreet, respectful support to those we serve. We are really grateful to all those organisations and individuals in Calderdale and beyond who have contributed over the past twenty-four months. We continue to pursue funding opportunities and chance for people to volunteer.
