Winter fundraising campaign launched

Feed more than the ducks this winter

We have set ourselves an ambitious plan for this winter. We would like to provide support for all our families who need it in Todmorden, Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd over the winter period.

Whether this is through working with schools to deliver a packed meal to children who can’t attend school because of Covid, or by providing a Food Top-up Shop for families who are struggling over the winter season and who would appreciate a little extra to help out.

Our food parcels will include healthy, fresh, popular, and nutritious comfort foods that families will enjoy.

We have been extraordinarily lucky to get support from Community Foundation for Calderdale, The Coop at Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd, Hebden Royd Town Council, and Jennifer Page and Hebden Bridge Lend-a-hand Facebook group to name but a few.

However, we are thinking BIG – we have not allowed current funding levels to limit our planning for the project we want to deliver this winter.
So, to do all this we need your help.

£10.00 will pay towards a Food Shop Top-up for a family of 4.

£5.00 will add an extra Food Shop Top-up to those who need it the most this winter, young or old.

And even a pound will help us continue to support our Community Friends into and beyond the Christmas period.
